With in the frame work of passenger service improvement and reducing the time of checking procedures in conditions of carriage of passengers growth on domestic and international flights, installation of modern X-ray TV checking equipment has been set. According to monitoring result the choice fell on X-ray TV unit “Rapiscan 620XR” able to efficiently detect dangerous objects. Ergonomic design and its understandable user interface is aimed at lightening the work and observing professional requirement to health and safety of operators. Modular set-up of the system, opening and easily accessible panels provide perfect safety and simplicity in servicing. New diode modules and program processing algorithms present the highest level of detection of dangerous objects and separating of materials, which are available for the standard X-ray systems. There is also new algorithm TARGET in the system, which automatically identifies potentially dangerous objects in case their characteristics coincide with the ones of explosives or drugs.
