SPECIAL TRANSPORT SERVICE

Availability and upgrading of air-technical base is an important part of improvement of Almaty airport’s services. Since 2010 the airport bought the following special transport:

Rampboss refuelers, 4 units (2 units with capacity 40 tons, and 2 units with capacity 10 tons);
The latest model of Neoplan bus (9112 L) for passenger transportation with maximum capacity 137 persons – 1 unit;
TREPELCHAMP 350 loader of the last generation with capacity 35 tons – 1 unit.

Currently, the total number of the special transport is over 400 units:

•	refuelers –	8 units;
•	deicers –	9 units;
•	towing vehicles –	8 units;
•	stationary and mobile power sources–	19 units;
•	engine starters –	2 units;
•	aircraft heating equipments –	5 units;
•	container and pallet loaders –	10 units;
•	passenger buses –	8 units;
•	passenger buses –	9 units; and other special transport.
