AZAL AIRLINES STARTED OPERATING FLIGHT TO ALMATY
On April 3, the management of Almaty International Airport, representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan and employees of the representative office of Azerbaijan Airlines* in Kazakhstan met the first flight of Azerbaijan Airlines – AZAL, which is the national air carrier of the Republic. The regular flight Baku-Almaty-Baku will be operated on Airbus 319 and 320 Airliners twice a week.
Departure from Heydar Aliyev International airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 20.00, travel time – 2 hours 50 minutes; departure from Almaty – on Wednesday and Sunday at 2.20, travel time – 3.5 hours.
The ticket price in both directions – from 125 000 tenge, the minimum rate includes transportation of 23 kg of Luggage and 10 kg of hand Luggage. Tickets can be purchased online on the airline's website – www.fly.azal.az
The opening of a new regular air service between Baku and Almaty will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the business cooperation between two countries and on the development of tourism, both in Kazakhstan and in Azerbaijan.
